    I love how the author addresses is how a lot of people throw out food that could be used to make other meals by using the same ingredients across multiple meals. Chapter 3 is the beginning of some delicious recipes, you can see if it needs to be prepped ahead of time or if you can cook it quickly by looking in the upper right hand corner. This is not something I have seen in other cookbooks and it is helpful. I would recommend this book for beginners and experts.

    If you are cooking for two and having too many leftovers, than this book is for you! This book gives some background to effective meal planning to reduce planning, grocery cost, and waste. It gives ideas on how to use multiple items in your weekly meals to not only save money by purchasing in bulk, but how you will reduce the waste of items you may not use often. The recipes provided in this book are easy to make and are not to specialized so that people will be able to find the ingredients in their local grocery section. This book also gives you tools on how to correctly double recipes, which for me, I have been cooking for quite some time and I did not even know these scenarios! An absolutely great book that will probably pay for itself in the first month of your meal planning!

    This is the ideal cookbook for me at this time in my life...I usually only cook for myself and my two young sons and since I have a brand new awesome crock-pot, I am using it more and more. The recipes are simple to understand, the ingredients are basic and easy to find and putting it all in my slow cooker has made my life so much more efficient and stress free. Our dinner meal is cooking while I am working or doing other things and it's ready in time for us to eat with minimal effort. Not to mention that the recipes are healthy, therefore my kids and I are eating better and we even usually have left overs for the next day. In addition to great recipes, this cook book also has lots of money saving tips and meal planning ideas. As a single mom, saving money and living within a budget is vital and this cook book is just what we needed to get us and keep us on track with our meals and our budget. Even if you have a larger family, this cookbook would be helpful as you could easily double the recipes for a bit more. I received this book at no charge in exchange for an unbiased and honest review. However, all opinions are entirely my own as always.

    This book was given to me for free for review on my kindle. I love cooking, but sometimes I don't have to cook for my entire family. I am so use to cooking for 4 all the time that I sometimes dont know how to cook any other way. This is a great cooking guide for meals that are both healthy, but tasty. I also love that the book is touching points for everyone no matter their diet. I saw a recipe that called for low sodium ingredients while there was an entire chapter dedicated for the Vegan eaters. I will admit that some of these recipes didn't sound like something I would usually make, but I would certainly try them. I also like how they take an ordinary meal like meatloaf and spruce it up a notch.

    There are three of us but preparing meals for two has always been more than enough for us. I am thankful to have found this book as it has made shopping, planning, and cooking much easier than I had made things in the past. Thanks to the books design I feel as though it extracted my bad habits, created new healthier habits, and taught me how to move forward from there. For me, I love that I am able to create shopping lists and meal plans without spending hours banging my head against the table. I also love that it has taught me how to choose healthier options without breaking the bank; which has always been a big concern. Most importantly, I love that this book is allowing me to cook more healthful meals that will enable me to keep my family healthier, happier, and hopefully loving this momma a bit more. I hope to pass health habits on to my daughter and this book is allowing me to do just that. I am thankful, thankful to have found it.

    Healthy Cookbook for Two was timely for me. With both kids out of the house, both hubby and myself have had to adjust. This book is perfect for us; my husband loves to cook and I love reading cookbooks. There were plenty of great recipes to choose from in this collection, too. The Chicken Broccoli was tasty, as was Gourmet Sloppy Joe's. Ingrediants were easily found and the addition pairings for some of the recipes was useful. A good guide for choosing meals that are made for two and taste good, too. I recommend. The variety of recipes offered many choices.

    I am really glad I got this book. There was a situation in my family that was pretty scary and a huge wake up call and it made me realize how it is time to get healthy, I am not the best cook in the world nor do I really know how to plan or even consider cooking healthy meals other then opening a can of tuna fish, though I did fry chicken in coconut flour and olive oil for the first time the other day for myself, but now that I am going to me helping out with my family I am going to have to make healthy meals to deliver to my family, wish me luck! This book provides some great tips and recipes to cook for 2 people who need to be on healthy diets even Gluten diets. We have Cancer survivors in our families and this book with all its tips of eating right will help us avoid the crap and even teach me how to cook right. Thanks very much for this.

    I received this book in exchange for my honest opinion. I really didn't think I was going to find anything new in this recipe book, but low and behold there are quite a few surprisingly treasurable and very easy recipes in here. The salmon patties/burgers and the baked apple pancakes sound so good and I can't wait to try them. Some recipes could be tweaked to be more healthier, but overall this is a great resource for people who want to eat healthy and relatively fast. I love that the portions are for two people, but they show you how to easily double the ingredients. In the back, there is a very helpful measurement guide for everything you can think of, which is very convenient. I love that they focus on eating less meat than vegetables but have give you enough recipes for both. Though I am really partial to the veggie and fish recipes. I think this is great no matter what way you eat, as there are recipes for everything. Really enjoying this and I know it will be a staple for a long time to come.

    This is probably the first cookbook I actually read.I'm not a fan of cookbooks but this one was really easy to read and get recipes out of. I don't cook a lot because there is only two of us, so I figured this would be perfect. If you are looking for some new recipes for a small family this would be perfect for you too!!
