    I really like John Grisham and read all his books. This is the only book I have to make myself read rather than make myself put the book down. Really boring story, boring characters,etc... i guess I will look forward to the next book and hope Grisham gets back to his old ways.

    Very enjoyable read. Typical Grisham style where he draws you in by the strength of the characters and mixes their flaws with their strengths and values to make a touching story that keeps you wanting more. Like most of his books this is terrific read but unlike most of his books this is not about the courtroom and typical lawyers. It’s about some law students going into their final year at law school and their approaches to the school, their debts, their struggles to deal with the unraveling of their naivete’ and how they intend to survive and be successful in the real world. Along the way Grisham no doubt uses them to share his own feelings about the state of the profession, its ethics and lack there of, competitive pressure and even immigration.

    I’m a big fan of Grisham‘s books but this one in my opinion is not as good as the others. The storyline was OK but a bit far-fetched. At times I found myself skipping pages that I found boring. Having said that I read it in a couple days and enjoyed the story
